The Makory

Look out for The Makory, a mobile maker space on wheels inviting families to hop on board for free making workshops hosted by artist Verity Foster in collaboration with Derby Museums.

Participants will engage in making small tiles, using a clay technique called sgraffito to etch designs on to rolled out air dry clay. Participants will shape and sculpt textures, shapes and imagery reflecting key features of the textile industries of the area.
